* ANTICIPATIONS OF PRINCE OF WALES. London, January 17. The Prince of AVales, as president of tho Empire Exhibition, was the principal guest at a banquet of the Incroporatpd Association of Reta'l Distributors. at which all the leading storekeepers were present. His Royal Highness referred to the great display of Empire manufactures' at the forthcoming exhibition, which would bo the shop window .of the Empire to tho world. As president, he considered himself the greatest agency in the commercial history of the Empire, and hoped that the Wemblev show would at least equal the commercial success cf the 1851 Exhibition.
