REWARD OF £2OO OFFERED A reward of £2OO is being offered bv the Education Department for in formation which will lead to the con viction of the person or persons re sponsible for the recent destructive fires at Newmarket and Epsom public The matter was discussed by officers of the Education Board with the Minister of Education on his recent visit and Mr. Parr has authorised the board to offer the reward stated. A reward of £lOO has been offered for some time for this information. The reward is offered only in connection with the two city schools, no mention having been made with regard to the destruction of the Waikino school, which was burned down shortly after the recent tragedy there. The Alinister has agreed to give early consideration to the matter of the reconstruction of tho three schools.
