NEW GROUND AT THE HUTT. The Management Committee of the Wellington Rugby Union decided ' at this week’s meeting to get in . touch with the Hutt Club with a viest. to the further discussion of matters in connection with the new ground there and its buildings. ■ . A report from the Finance Committee stated that a provisional agreement between the Hutt Club and the union had been drawn up and sub'mitted to the club. The ground, it was stated in the agreement, was to remain the property of the union, but should be leased to the club for a term of 21 years. The club was to undertake the erection of a gymnasium (at a cost of £1100), and the union was to have the use of the ground on Saturdays and holidays. There were other clauses in the agreement, and to practically all of them the club agreed. _________ ———————————— x
