SAILORS’ FRIEND SOCIETY
Enthusiasm reached a high pitch at Mrs. C. M. Grant’s concert to seafarers at the Sailors’ Friend Society on Thursday, when insistent demands for encores were made. The performers were Mrs. Grant, Misses Bleeze. Kelly, T. Coplas,'' E. Williams, and Messrs. Lough, Grant, Newman, Davies, and Master Lambert. Mrs. Grant was at the piano. The prizes for the short htdry competition came from the hostess and went to the Pakeha and Marama and men in port.
