SAND DUNE FORESTRY
A VISIT OF INSPECTION. By Telegraph—Pp.ess Association. Palmerston North, November 30. Sir Heaton Rhodes, Commissioner of State Forests, arrived from tho north to-day. He inspected the sand dunes on the Manawatu and Rar.gitikei beaches where the Department is carrying out reclamation and treeplanting work on the dunes on the coast near Oroua Downs. The Alinister was accompanied by Captain Macintosh E'.lis. Director of the State Forest Service; Mr. Darby, officer ir charge of the Wellington reg’on the Department; and Air. Linklater, M.P.
