Fryer at Hawera, susstained serious head and face mjui les by a fall in the hurdles on Automoana at the Feilding meeting to-day. Edwards was admitted to the 1 aiinerston North Hospital in a serious condition at 11 o’clock to-night. He is still unconscious, but it is believed his life is not in danger.
