JOCKEY SERIOUSLY INJURED
SUFFERS FALL IN HURDLE RACE By Telegraph—Press Association. Palmerston North, November 30. C. T. Edwarls, aged 18 years, an appentico jockey, attefched to the stable of J. Fryer at Hawera, susstained serious head and face mjui les by a fall in the hurdles on Automoana at the Feilding meeting to-day. Edwards was admitted to the 1 aiinerston North Hospital in a serious condition at 11 o’clock to-night. He is still unconscious, but it is believed his life is not in danger.
