FOR CRIMINAL ASSAULTS ON YOUNG GIRLS (Rec. November 29, 9 p.m.) Melbourne, November 29. The Chief Justice inflicted salutary sentences on three men separately charged with criminal assaults on young girls. Ono received a sentence of seven years with two floggings, another of two years with on© flegging, and a. third of five years’ imprisonment.—Press Assn.
