Vice-Reg An. The Governor-General will leave Wellington to-day to go into residence at Government House, Auckland. His Excellency will be accompanied by the Honourable Prudence Jeiiicoe, who has sufficiently recovered from her illness to make the journey. Her Excellency and the Honourable Lucy Jeiiicoe, now' visiting China, are expected back in New Zealand about the middle of January.

The Chief Justice (Sir Robert. Stout) who has been presiding at the Wanganui Supreme Court sitings, is expected to return to-day.

His Honour, Mr. Justice MacGregor will leave for Gisborne this morning to preside at the sittings of the Supreme Court there.

Mr. Justice Reed returned yesterday from Blenheim and Nelson and will proceed to Auckland to-morrow. Captain W. Stuart lias reported here from the Auckland office of the Marine Department to assist the Acting Nautical Adviser (Captain Whiteford) during the absence of Captain Hooper in Ross Dependency waters. Mr. H. C. Pocklcy is returning to Wellington by the Main Trunk express to-day after a nine months’ tour of England, America, and tho Continent.

Mr. T. W. Bradley, manager of the Tawaha Dairy Company, will leave for England by the Ruahine on December 29. He intends to be away from Neiv Zealand about six months. While in England he will visit all the leading dairy factories and study their methods of cheese and butter-making. He will also be a visitor to the Empire Exhibition.
