ROLL OF HONOUR
-4 WELLINGTON DISTRICT LAW SOCIETY. Tho Roll of Honour bearing the names of Wellington district legal practitioners and law clerks who made the supreme sacrifice in the war, has been completed by Messrs. W. R. Bock, and will be erected shortly in a conspicuous position in the library of the Supreme Court. The memorial, which measures five feet by four, consists of a brass plate with a bronze floral border in relief and two simple laurels surrounding the significant years 1914-1918. The forty odd names have been cut by hand from the brass plate. At the foot of the tablet, which is mounted on oak, are the words, ‘‘Sic itur ad astra” (this is the way to the Heavens). The Law Society is arranging a fitting ceremony with which to unveil the tablet.
