GREEK DYNASTY
DEPOSITION ADVOCATED FOR REPUBLICAN FORM OF GOVERNMENT Bi' Telegraph—Press Association. Copyright. (Rec. November 27, 8.30 p.m.) London, November 27. The “Morning Post’s” Athens correspondent says a meeting in the Temple of the Olympian Zeus adoped a resolution advocating a deposition of the present dynasty, and the exercise of authority by a revolutionary government until the ratification of a republican form of government by the iK'ople. Colonel Plastiras, replying to a deputation, said: “1 reject your proposal that my Government net as a regenev. In any case wo should not over throw the ’dynasty unless with the absolute authority of the whole of the people. The National Assembly, after the elections, can seek their opinion. Meanwhile, my advice is to carry on moral propaganda, then the country will have peace and be able to face external dangers.”—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
