ROMAN CATHOLIC BISHOP OF GOULBURN.
Sydney, November 27 Obituary.—Dr. John Gallagher, Roman Catholic Bishop of Goulburn.— Press Assn.
[Dr. Gallagher, who was Lorn in Ireland in 1846, was educated at Afaynooth College. He was ordained in 1569, and arrived in Goulburn the fcllowing year. Ho was president of St. Patrick’s College, and was appointed rector of Wagga AVagga Jn 1887. He was consecrated Coadjutor Bishop of Goulburn in 1895, and succeeded to the See in June, 1900.]
