As a young lady was crossing "Willis Street last evening she caught her foot in tho tram rails and fell across the dine as a tram approached. _ Tho driver with coinmendabio promptitude put on the brakes and let down, the guard,'thus averting a serious accident. As. it was, the young lady was quickly extricated and, beyond a .•'light shock, escaped injury.
