CENTENARIAN’S DEATH
CRIMEAN AND INDIAN MUTINY VETERAN
Br TELEGBArn—Press Association. Christchurch, November 26. The death occurred in the Kaikoura Hospital to-day of Mr. Harry Evans, aged 101 years. He served ill the Crimea War and Indian Mutiny- 'de came to New' Zealand with the o4th Regiment, and took part in the Maori wars.
