The clay bird championship of New Zealand under the auspices of the New Zealand Gun Club Association, for which there were thirty-nine competitors. resulted as follows: H. Clinch, of Horopito twenty kills out of a possible twenty-one; B. Burgess (Marton), nineteen kills, runnpr ; up. Seven tied for third place with eighteen kills. j
