4 NEED FOR MARKING STRESSED
(Rec. June 7, 8.40 p.m.) Lgndon, Juno 7. Mr'. ‘Thompson, a member of a delegation rrom Vancouver, entertained by the Manchester Chamber of Commerce, laid he had seen produce at the Manchester docks labelled as if it camo from British Columbia, when it really was American stuff. Mr. Thompson urged the British Government at least to see that the produce was marked so that people would know it camo from their kith and kin. He suggested that textile firms would find it advantageous to start branch mills in British Columbia. —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
