BURGLARS ACTIVE
FORCE OPEN A SAFE Burglars, who apparently possessed a fairly useful knowledge of the layout of the building entered the premises of the Fletcher Construction Company over the week end and succeeded m extracting a small sum of money from the office safe. It is presumed that the intruders gained an entrance to the factory r.n the ground floor, and with the assistance of a ladder passed through a holo to the next story. Then, it seems, the lock of the door Wls forced, and the office reached without further difficulty, as the remaining doors were unlocked. Yesterday morning it was found that the safe had been tampered with, but is far as could be ascertained only a small amount of money was missing.
