Both boats were at scratch, and got off the starting line off Clyde Quay wharf at 3 p.m. The Marangi assumed the lead and was never headed, winning, by 7 minutes 20 seconds. The Kotiri 11. secured the aggregate trophy—the Carina Cup. The race for second-class yachts was keenly contested. The Windward put up an excellent fight 'against the Galatea. ‘ She was just beaten on the actual sailing time, but with handicaps adinsted. had over 3 minutes to spare. The Galatea now has the championship pennant and the Harman Cup for the club aggregate added to her laurels. The Peggy again demonstrated her superiority over the Eynin, by defeating the Sanders Cun representative on eaual terms. .
