CHARGE AGAINST FRENCH DOCTORS TREATMENT OF \ PHANTOM SOLDIERS By telegraph.—Press association. —Copyright. Paris, April 13. Thirty-four Marseilles doctors havo been arrested for defrauding the French Treasury of £430,000. During the war they filled in voucher forms relating to imaginary sick and wounded soldiers, and thus secured payments for treatment and medicine, ranging from 20 to 500 francs per case. A number of chemists are also charged, with presenting fraudulent vouchers in connection with 3000 expensive prescriptions for phantom patients. —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
