LINERS DELAYED
DORSET AND TAINUI IN HEAVY WEATHER
Both the New Zealand Shipping Company and the Shaw, Savill, and Albion Company received wireless messages yesterday respectively from the liners Dorset and Tainui, bound from London and Southampton to Wellington, seating that they were encounteririg hqavy westerly weather. The Dorset reported that owing to the bad weather, instead of arriving at Wellington on Sunday morning, she will not arrive hero before Sunday night or Monday, morning. The master of the Tainui reported his vessel would Uot arrive at Wellington until early on Monday morning, instead of Sunday. Both vessels are bringing a considerable number of passengers.
