PHYLLIS LETT LIBEL ACTION. SETTLED. ’ London, April 10. The Phyllis' Lett case was settled, the defendants, Messrs. Pathe Freres, agreeing (1) to destroy the records and not issue any Master records, unless giving the date on which the songs were sung, and (2) io pay a liberal portion of Miss Lett’s legal expenses. — Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. [A novel libel action was brought by Miss Phyllis . Lett, against . Messrs. Pathe Freres, in connection -with the issue of old gramophone records made in 1910, which she claimed did not represent heir .voice as it is to-day.]
