MISSING FROM OCEAN ISLAND
BISAPPEARANCE OF A BOATING PARTY BY TELEGRAPH.— PRESS ASSOCIATION. Auckland, April 11. A wireless message recently received from Ocean Island, reported the disappearance of a boatinpt party, comprising two members of tho British Phosphate Commission and a native. The Now Zealand Commissioner, Mr. Ellis, said to-day that tho missing Europeans were Dr. Ridge Mills (a medical officer), and Mr. Greenway, both Australians. As bad veather came up shprtlv after they left tho island on Good Friday it was surmised that their boat was either swamped or swept away by the strong current. In the latter case tho boat might reach the Gilbert Group,' about 250 miles to tho eastward. The . steamer Waihora spent some time’ in searching fruitlessly. " i
