Two of the amateur crew loft the boat there, a soventeon-year-old half-caste boy and a ne-gro being shipped in theif places. Going on to Jamaica, the third amateur had to leave for home, and Mr. Muhlhauser was left with the half-caste and a San Blas Indian, who had replaced the negro, neither of whom spoke English, to navigate the boat through tho Panama Canal to Sydney, thence to Singapore, and so on tho way home.
