LIBERAL RETURNED FOR ANGLESEY. London, April 9. Tile Anglesey by-election resulted as follows:— Sir R. J. Thomas (L.) ... 11,116 Johns (Lab.) 6,368 Roberts (C.) 3,385 Sir Robert Thomas’s victory is regarded by Liberal newspapers as indicating a re-union of the two Liberal wings. Sir John Simon and Mrs. Lloyd George addressed meetings in support of Sir Robert Thomas.—Aus.N.Z. Cable Assn. [At the General Election (November 1922), the figures were:—BrigadierGeneral Sir Owen Thomas (Ind.), 11,929, Sir Robert Thomas (N.L.), 10,067.]
