THE REVENUE BOGEY
“The Revenue Bogey” will be the subject of Mr. L. M. Isitt’s (M.P.’s) address in the Town Hall on Thursday evening at 8, when a public meeting is to be held in connection with the annual meeting of the New Zealand Alliance which is now in session. Dr. A. B. O’Brien, M.D., 8.5., F.R.C.S., of Christchurch, will speak on “Alcohol a Drug—Not a Medicine.” Commissioner R Hoggard, of the Salvation Army has consented to speak. The Salvation Army Band will be in attendance, and the Rev. A. Mitchell will sing. Admission is free, but there will be a collection to defray expenses. All are invited, whether they sympathise with the prohibition movement or not.
