CLERGYMAN COMMITTED FOR TRIAL
CHARGED WITH DAMAGING A TOMBSTONE. (Rec. April 8, 11-40 p.m.) London, April 8. The Rev. Charles Barton, rector of Harbledon, Kent, has been committed for trial on a charge of damaging a grave monument in a churchyard. Witnesses said they saw Barton hammer a sun-dial off a monument.
