TRAM AND MOTOR-CAR
COLLISION IN IXIAYER OUBd STREET. As taxi No. 93 moved out of its position in the Lower Street stand (outside the Bank of New Zealand) about 12.40 p.m. yesterday, the driver, T. B. Wright, had to steer across the tram tracks. The motorcar and a tramcar met in collision, a fact, which was signalised by the bursting of a tire. When the car pulled clear from the front of the tramcar (No. 90) it was found that one of the rear mudguards had boen crushed, whilst the tire opposite to the point of collision had burst.
