CHILDREN BURNED TO DEATH
DURING PARENTS’ ABSENCE BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION. —COPYRIGHT. Sydney, March 19. Whilst attending a professional running contest at Mudgeo on Saturday night, Mr. and Mrs. Rendell left three little girls and a boy. thoir ages ranging from ten years to three, in a canvas camp at the Marble lime works. On returning about midnight they found the children burnt to death, charred remains of the bodies and that of a dog being huddled together under an iron bedstead. The camp and its contents were'destroyed.-—Press Assn.
