A letter-carrier named Peter Hunratty, 46 years of age, suffering from a broken leg, was admitted to the hospital about- 8.40 o’clock on Sunday night. It is stated that the man was riding a bicycle past the Bellevue Gardens,' Lower Hutt, and at the same time’ was carrying a can of milk. He overbalanced and sustained a broken log just above the ankle.
