KARORI CLUB Tho Karori Defence Rifle Club continued their championship series on Saturday at Trentham, the ranges being SOO and 1000 yards. SUBURBS CLUB

The members of the Suburbs Club completed their second series, which had been postponed from November 13, by firing at 800 and 900 yards on Saturday. The scores also completed the totals for the Kennedy Cup. The weather was of Ji wild description, and duiing the afternoon several targets were blown away by heavy gusts of wind, which seemed to concentrate in the middle of the Scddon range. As a consequence shooting was difficult, and scores jvere low, but the three leading men put up a creditable performance under the adverse conditions. The leading scores in the Kennedy Cup were: T. Goodall 527 points, C. Whiteman 519, and C. Milroy 512. The prize-winners ,in the “second” series are: T. Goodall 265, J. Smart 257, C. Whiteman 253, and B. Dunn 252. The next shoot of the club will be at 900 and 1000 yards, which was postponed from January 20, and counts in tho fourth series for the Hickson Cup. Tho following are Saturday’s scores, with handicap:—

PETONE RIFLE CLU§ The I’etone Rifle Club fired on Saturday the concluding match in the second series at ranges 800 and 900. yards. Tho weather was fine, but the wind was extremely baffling, and good hits were at a premium. J. Scott, C. Mitchell, and R. Askew were the spoon winners. T. 'Warburton, A. Weir, and E. Hicks, with R.
