WAIWETU GOLF CLUB
The thirteenth annual general meeting of the Waiwetu Golf Club was held Council Chambers, Petone. Iho annual report disclosed that the pa s " season had been the most successful in the club’s history. There had been a laree expansion of membership, and the financial pos : tion was very strong. Another successful season is. therefore anticipated. The following officers were elected for the ensuing season: —President, Mr R. C. Kirk (president New Zealand Golf Council); club captain, Mr. G. Cook;.bon. secretary and treasurer, Mr W. F. Tavlor; committee, Mrs. Truscott and Messrs. P. J. S. Truscott J. A. Fernandez, A. J. Hobbs, W Whitehead, M. Macaskill, Misses L. Walters, and A. Gaynor.
