Park made a hundred in 55 minutes, and the last 50 in 46 minutes. Ho hit eight' 4’s. Ransford played' gracefully. Liddicutt gave a ridiculously easy chance to Maclean at cover point when 11. Lawrv was wicketkeeping. Ransford reached 50 after batting an hour. The Englishmen were fielding well. Chapman and Hill-M’ood were especially good. Seven bowlers were tried., The bowling was not loose, but it was not difficult. The crowd bantered the batsmen for not being aggressive. Liddicutt. made 50 in 93 minutes.
