JAPAN’S TWENTY-ONE DEMANDS
CHINA DESIRES TO DISCUSS THEIR ABROGATION. (Rec. March 12, 0.5 a.m.) Peking, March 10 China to-day requested Japan to fix the date for the discussion of tho return of Port Arthur and the abrogation of the twenty-one demands in the Treaty of 1915, which is characterised aa the greatest obstacle to cordial relations between the two countries. The Chinese Parliament in January passed a resolution asking the Government to demand the abrogation. —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
