BEING ERECTED IN JERVOIS QUAY Now that the stores and spares branch of the municipal tramways department is housed in its new quarters on the reclaimed land at the rear of the destructor, the site adjoining the tramways power-house has been cleared, and tho brick walls, of the main sub-transformer, or breaking-down, station in tho city , for the power from Mangahao are aifibtdy some.feet above tho ground there. The site is regarded as a fine central one for the purpose.
