INFECTIOUS DISEASES
PAST WEEK’S FIGURES During the week ended at noon yesterday, thirteen cases of infectious disease were reported to the authorities in the AVcllington Health District. The number reported during tlm previous week was seven. Last week's cases occurred in the following hospital districts : — Palmerston North: Scarlet fever, 2; diphtheria, 2. AA’dlington: Scarlet fever, 1; diphtheria, 1: tuberculosis, 2 ; pneumonia, 1 : erysipelas. 1. AVairarapa: Scarlet fever, 2; puerperal septicaemia, 1.
