The longest bright spell was on January 7, when 13 hours of sunshine were •ecordeu. The mean barometrical pressure fox the month was 29.300 inches. The instrument recorded its highest reading on January 25 (30.026 inches) and its lowest on New Year's Day (29.532 biches). The mean temperature was 64.1 Fahr. The highest reading, 77.2, was recorded on Anniversary Day. and tho lowest on January 11. The average daily velocity of the wind was 221 miles.
