TECHNICAL COLLEGE ENROLMENTS
As evidence that a sound technical education is being greatly sought after by those boys and /girls who havo finished their terra at the elementary schools, the director of the Technical College (Mr. J.-IT. Howell) reports a remarkable increase in the number of enrolments on the first day this year The total number of pupils enrolled yesterday for the 1923 classes was 537. This is an increase of 197 on last year’s figures, and 249 on those of 1921. The total enrolments on the first day, for 1922 and 1921 were 340 and 2SB respectively.
