FIRE DAMAGE
HOUSE BURNED AT FOXTON. BY TBUGBAPH. —PBT.SS ASSOCIATION. 1 Foxton, February 5. The residence of Mr. F. Harris, a poultry farmer, on the outskirts of the borough, v/as totally destroyed by. fire with its contents on Saturday night. The insurance is £650 in the New Zealand office. DUNEDIN STORE GUTTED. BY TBLEO3APH.—PT.IWI ASSOCIATION Dunsdin, February 5. Fire this morning gutted a grocery and confectionery store in Maclaggan Street, occupied by E. G. Jones. The stock was lost, and was insured for £5OO. The building was owned by Somerville Bros, and Jenkins, and was insured for £BOO. The building was formerly the Bull and Mouth Hotel.
