WORKING MEN’S CLUB
A concert was held last evening in the large hall of tho Working Men’s Club before a large gathering of members, wives, and visitors, and every item' was well received and encores were plentiful. This being one of the best concerts .yet given by the club The following artists from tho J. C. Williamson company rendered various items, which were greatly appreciated: —Messrs. Jennings. Hooper, Harker, Dart. Halgram, and Miss Phyllis Plyo. Local artists, who also added to the pleasure of the evening were Messrs. Road, Bovso, Gregory. Hanlon, and Master Moore, Air. Hanlon’s monologue. and Mr. Wilkinson’s sketch provided much amusement.
