STRANDED GERMAN MINE
BLOWS FINDERS TO PIECES. London, January 9. Two youths were examining a large barnacle-covered German mine, which came ashore -on the Cork coast, when the mine exploded and blew them to fragments. Only a portion of one s leg 0 was recovered. A third youth, some distance away, was made unconscious, and lost his hearing. The explosion was heard fifteen miles away.-r Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
