NEW SOUTH AV ALES PROPOSALS. n, November 3. . A. A. 0. Cocks (State Treasurer) introduced an Income Tax Bill proposing to abolish tho supertax, but milking the incidence of taxation a shilling in the pound. Lower incomes would benefit, but there would bo an increase on incomes of £5OOO to £lO,OOO. He hoped to make an exemption for incomes/ under £250. —Press Assn.
