Dr. Mary Armor, who has come to New Zealand from America to lecture on behalf of prohibition, is noted as a speaker, and Wellington resident® will shortly have opportunities of hearing her eloquence. This afternoon, Mrs. Johnson-Wright and Miss Kirk arc* giving a reception in her honour in the Constable Street rooms of the W.C.T.U., and the occasion is being looked forward to with much interest. Mr. H. T. Morton, solicitor of Te Kuiti, is visiting Wellington on business connected with the proposed conversion of Native leaseholds within the borough into freeholds, a question that also affects Otorohanga and Taumarunui. '
