UNEMPLOYMENT
THE RIGHT TO WORK Mr. JP. Fraser (Wellington Central) has given notice in the House of Representatives to ask the Prime Afinister —(1) Whether he will state what the Goverftment is doing to relieve the present widespread unemployment? (2) Whether the Government will introduce legislation this session recognising the right-to-work principle, and providing that every unemployed person able to work shall _ be provided with employment, or, failing the provision of employment, the payment to such person of an unemployment allowance sufficient to provide for the needs of himself and his wife and family, or other dependants ?
