LEAGUE FOOTBALL
CENTRAL CLUB. A meeting of the Central Club was held last evening, Mr. Sn6w-presiding over a good attendance of members. Mr. Grant made his reappearance as secretary, after an illness of some weeks, having undergone an operation for appendicitis during his absence. He was heartily welcomed back by the members. . , , <■ J A. Wilson applied for a transfer to the City Club, but nt Monday evening’s meeting of the central body the transfer was not granted. ITS is to be asked to reconsider his application. » . ,t Bevan was granted a transfer to the City Club. Six new players were made members of the club.
