The Wellington Club held its weekly run from the Island Bay Surf Club’s shed. R. Watson and R. Esau trailed a stiff course over the hill on both sides of Happy Valley Road, eventually, gaining the road to the west of the stream. A handicap run-in from there resulted in R. Spence and T. Carter (novices) being first and second, with veteran F. Rowberry third. The Olympic Harrier Club held its weekly run at Seatoun on Saturday last. The trail was laid by R. Osborne and A. South.' Starting from the kiosk, the trail led up on to the Sgatoun Heights, circling round to the Miramar tram terminus, through the Chinamen’s gardens, down the side of the hill, returning across the Miramar flats via the tunnel to Seatoun again. The usual run-in was held about three hundred yards from home, resulting in J. Trench just managing to beat A. Tracy for first place, while F. Grindley gained third place. The weekly run of the Scottish Harriers took place from Kelburn on Saturday, a field of thirty participating. The trail, laid by J. Souness and H. J. Smith, led over Mt. Etako, through Wiltoh’s Bush, and back via Northland and the viaduct to Kelburn. A handicap run-in over the last quarter mile Resulted in a splendid finish, A. Evans (10yds.) just beating E. Jacobson (30yds.) to the tape, with F. J. Pohlen a close third. ,
