STATEMENTS REGARDING RED BALL PLAY. (Rec. May 14, 5.5 p.m.) Sydney, May 14. The final scores in the billiards match wore :—Lindrum, 16,002 ; Stevenson, 6545. Stevenson states he was much taken in over the game, as he thought play would have been of the all-round-tbe table variety. Lindrum denies that he confined himself to red-ball play. He states that less' than six thousand of his score was made from that class of play. —Press Assn.
