OVERSEAS SETTLEMENT
OPPORTUNITIES FOR RETIRED ARMY OFFICERS. (Rec. March 30, 5.5 p.m.) London, March 29. Colonel Amery, replying to Sir J. Norton-Griffiths, said the Overseas Settlement Committee had discussed with Dominion representatives the possibilities of. land settlement in the Dominions for retired army officers. The Government could not co-operate with such schemes unless tho proposed Migration Bill was passed.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
