TERRITORIALS
Sir,—Permit me, per medium of this paper, to draw attention to an inconsistency in the transferring of Territorials to the reserve. At the end of the Defence year, June 30, 1920, all men who had served 4 years with efficient service were transferred to the reserve, hence it was assumed hy the men whose 4 years’ service was completed this June that they also would bo transferred to the reserve, but found, on making application, that they would be required to continue on. Now surely, this is an injustice to differentiate between tho men in this manner and is calculated to effect inefficiency, whereas the prospect of getting off after completing 4 years proved an incentive to the men to make themselves thoroughly efficient.—l am, ILLUSIONED.
