CITY BULB SHOW
Sir,—l notice that in your report of the city bulb show, you mention a number of varieties that is claimed to have been exhibited in New Zealand for the first time. I have not had the fortune to attend any of the Wellington shows, and I am sure that your informant has not visited Nelson. . For some rears past most of the varieties mentioned have bven exhibited here, and it mav bo of interest to mention that at our show held last week there were at least seventy blooms of “Bernadmo on view. Fleetwing likewise was m practically every winning stand, 1y 30 blooms being shown. Wonderland, Crystal Queen, Robespierre, Fobert Sydenham, Silver Giant, Michael, Clov.vh, Geraldine, and others were al shown, and many of them for severa years past. There was Quite a lot ot other rare varieties on exhibition for the first time here, but I would wi like to say th:- first time in New land. I. am pointing this out merely to show that Nelson Is nt least in one instance holding her Richmond, September 12, 19*1.
