MURDER OF ERZBERGER
ARRESTS IN MUNICH. (Rec. September 17, 1.36 a.m.) Berlin, September 15. Altogether ten men, mostly ex-naval officers and students, have been arrested in Munich iiV connection with the murder of, Herr Erzberger. Precautions to evoid arrest were I taken by the. leaders of the Kapp insurrection last year, who were described by the Chancellor, Herr Wirth, in the Reichstag. It is stated that detectives found they were sheltering near Munich in an entrenched position, ' protected by a strong guard of followers, including even Bavarian policemen. Anybody approaching the hidingplace was fired on. The Chancellor alleged, that the Kappites were under Bavarian protection.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
