ATHLETIC SPORTS FOOTBALL CLUB

THE ANNUAL MEETING

The annual meeting of the Athletic Football Sports Club was held in the yXt.GA. last night. Mr. J. W. Heenan stated that the membership of tho club had increased during iho year by 20, and now numbered During the past season the dub was represented at several meetings ami secured 48 firsts, 35 seconds, and 20 thirds A marked feature of the past season had been tho enthusiasm displayed '?J' “j 0 voungcr members of the club and thou success in handicap events against members of other clubs. The balance-sheet showed a credit balance of -L29 35., am in view of this report recommended that the incoming committee should seriously consider the advisability of holding a daj meeting during the coming season.
